Amethyst Angel

This angel was made as a christmass gift for my father's partner. She is very nice and spiritual person, healer and she always gets angels at Christmass I did this simply as a "statue" or decoration but it seems he will became a pendant too. It was handcarved from a birchwood, polished with a sandpaper and treated with beeswax. The stone is an amethyst ans it is being held by the angel's wings with no use of glue or such thing. My camera didn't get the colors right so I edited it a little in Photoshop.
